Yeah, they ALL play PS1 games, BUT it depends when u got yr PS3, the PS3’s that came out played all of them, but Sony saw they were losing money becouse here an example is Need for speed pro Street, for PS2 and PS3, ppl saw it was cheaper buying the PS2 version so yeah, so Sony after one month of the PS3 release started relaesing PS3’s that will no longer read PS2.
