VE is not connected to the database. VE analyzes the PB code, and also all the calls to stored procedures. You can thus know the impacts of a modification of a stored procedure on the PB application. To extract your stored procedures, you can use DBE (DataBase Extractor). They will be then included in your VE project. The stored procedures are taken into account when doing textual searches.
