Does VMT require an Internet connection to function?
Not at all! The messages are programmed into VMT and do not need to connect to a server or download anything. As a result, VMT is locked down and extremely safe to use. There is no open pipeline to the internet that can get hijacked, and there’s no outside tampering to speak of since the version exists solely on the user’s machine. Additionally, you don’t have to worry about your users waiting for content to download over a slow connection, or making them connect in order to see something. It’s all there right away for maximum convenience. That courtesy reflects very well on you and your business.
