Does WMP 11 not have the ability write CD text (album, track names…etc) > when buring a CD?
You don’t think Microsoft would actually add FEATURES that user want do you [shock, horror!], they are far too busy adding yet more user hostile DRM. In case you could not tell, no WMP 11 does not do CD Text for either reading from CDs or for burning CDs. Neither does WMP 11 do Podcasts (not even ‘basic’ ones, let alone the ‘advanced’ AAC podcast format). I am sure other programs can do CD Text as well, but iTunes 7 or later for Windows (or Mac) can burn CD Text disks, iTunes also does not read CD Text (it uses Gracenote CDDB instead). However at least the burned disk will display properly in say an in car CD player (if it supports CD Text, many car systems do).
