Yes, WWE changed the name of their One Night Stand pay-per-view to Extreme Rules because of their PG rating and because they are gearing their product more towards children. I am actually not against the name change as One Night Stand was developed as “one night” where the company brought back ECW; however, that is not the case anymore. I’m guessing with a pay-per-view name like Extreme Rules there are going to be a lot of hardcore bouts, but we’ll see as the time draws closer to the show.
