Does Wymans offer organic wild blueberries?
A. No, not at this time. Wild blueberries are very difficult to grow properly in any quantity without the limited use of some herbicides to keep competing vegetation from dominating the low-lying bushes and some insecticides to prevent insect infestations. We use Integrated Pest Management (IPM) to ensure that only the ABSOLUTE MINIMUM quantity of any chemical is used on ONLY the areas affected by the problem vegetation or insect. Our products are checked for residues of any such applications and are always well under the FDA acceptable limits. Q.
