Does XipLink work in multipoint/star/hub spoke/mesh environments?
XipLink optimizer software, running as an embedded system in a third party controller / modem / encryptor or operating in one of XipLink’s XA-Series of appliances, works in any network topology. SCPS protocol acceleration and advanced data compression capabilities are dynamically negotiated across the wireless network as users open TCP sessions with remote hosts. If connections are made to nodes that are not across wireless links that are optimized, then standard TCP is used all the way to the host as usual. This architecture always ensures interoperability with no pre-configuration necessary to optimize a connection.
