Doesn fondant taste bad?
NO!! There is a certain, widely available brand of fondant that does taste disgusting, however there are several good quality commercial fondants & home made recipes for fondant that are actually very tasty. Fondant covered cakes also have a layer of buttercream underneath which allows a person to peel off the fondant & still enjoy icing with their cake if they so choose. Don’t let rumors of horrible taste scare you away if you prefer the look of a smooth matte finish fondant cake. I gladly provide a piece of fondant for you to taste at your consultation.
