Don mess with our feelings. What about Thalia Assuras?
A. Well, Thalia Assuras, a much-admired and liked anchor for World News Now, who had been in at least one of the chairs, off and on, since the days of Aaron Brown, has left the program, and ABCNews. She is currently working on starting up CBS’s new “Eye On People” cable channel, where she hosted the 10:00 p.m. program, “Off Tenth,” which has unfortunately been cancelled. A new assignment within CBS News is pending. She was one of the long line of ABCNews’ Canadian heritage, without which much of WNN–not unlike the U.S. Mercury/Gemini/Apollo space programs–could not be made.
