During installation of the device portion of the software I get error message stating that setup file is invalid and the cab file is not copied to the desktop. Can I fix it?

This may happens due to a corrupt registry setting left on your desktop computer (possibly from the previous software installations especially if you use(d) older versions of ActiveSync). If this occurs, we recommend that you simply copy the appropriate cab file onto the device manually and install it by starting this file on the device.
