[Bob Glickstein] 1997. Ishl has been approved for inclusion in an upcoming release of Emacs, under the name isearch-lazy-highlight. Ishl stands for “incremental search highlighting.” Normally, incremental search highlights the current match for the search string using the “region” face. This package uses the “secondary selection” face to highlight all the other matches, too.
