Explain image access-type issues?
Currently, ERC uses four different image types: GIF, TIFF, PDF and full-text. GIF images are viewed through the browser and will have a header produced by the browser, which contains the source URL. TIFF images are generally better quality and can be viewed using the Microsoft Imaging for Windows. There is no URL header and the image can be fit to the page. PDF images are comparable to TIFF in quality and do not have a URL header, as does GIF. PDF images can be viewed with Adobe Acrobat version 4.05 or better. Full-text images are available for some of the most common documents. With full-text, you can cut and paste directly from the viewer into another document, however, you need to download the entire document before viewing.
