File Options – What are “Minimum” and Maximum” File Size”?
To reach File Options from either Digger or Borer proceed as follows: 2. Click on Tools on the menu Bar 7. Click on User Options Minimum File Size to Save (K) and Maximum File Size to Save (K) – Before downloading a file ( apart from a link, which can be any size ) Web Thingy checks with the server to see what size the file is. If the file is too big or too small it does not waste time downloading it but tells you the file has been killed. The default values are 3K minimum and 1000K ( ie one Meg ) maximum. Depending on your modem speed you may want to amend this.
