For Godzilla movie experts: Where did this creature come from??
…yes, indeed!!! You DID miss a movie in the Toho/Godzilla movie mythos, however, the film only had the creature Manda, and did not have Godzilla. That film was the 1963 production of “Atragon”, and Manda was supposedly some kind of god, which was sent out by the underwater dissidents of the lost civilization of Mu (…they thought that the surface-dwelling people on Earth were attempting to invade their secret and forbidden kingdom), against this giant scientifically-created nuclear submarine, with the ability to burrow into the Earth’s crust…..
