Has anyone been induced with a posterior positioned baby?

Do you mean back to back (ie baby’s back is against yours- think this is posterior but can’t 100% remember sorry)? I was induced with a back to back baby. I wasn’t ready to be induced (was for medical reasons) so it took a while to get me into labour- uncomfortable and restless 24 hours but not painful, just loong- and had a 10 hour labour, unassisted delivery and very minimal pain relief (gas and air only). She turned on her own, which the vast majority of back to back babies do in labour. Try and labour in an upright position rather than lying in bed and be as active as you can. At the moment there is no reason to think you’ll be induced hon, 1 day really is nothing. The average time to deliver with a first baby is 40+5, and a lot of 1st time mums go a week or more overdue.
