Has anyone been on the Panama Canal cruise?
I have been on about 20 cruises with 4 different cruise lines; also have 4 more booked now. So I know a little about cruising. I have been on Princess, Norwegian, Celebrity and Royal Caribbean cruise lines and will be adding Holland America to that list this year. We cruised to the Panama Canal on Princess a few years ago. The Princess ship was very nice and so was the cruise. Princess, Celebrity and Royal Caribbean have very finely decorated and comfortable ships and provide great food and service. Cruises to the Panama Canal typically include port stops in Mexico (Cozumel or Costa Maya), Costa Rica, and Grand Cayman and/or Jamaica. Some may have Belize or Columbia as a stop. And some Panama cruises that are longer go all the way through the Canal and do Mexico stops on the Pacific side. And some cruises run from California, do Mexico stops, then the canal and end in Florida. I have not yet done these longer cruises.
