Has anyone tried Canidae dog food for food allergies?
The problem with an “allergy food” is that it only works if the specific food your dog is allergic to is not in the dog food. Our younger girl has BAD food allergies- the “allergy” food didn’t work- we tried everything! We finally tried an exclusion diet to find out exactly what she was used to- and she was allergic to all of the starches- potatoes, rice, etc. The treatment for dog food allergies is the same as humans- you must eliminate the specific food they are allergic to.
