The Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) in the Ministry of Water and Environment (MWE) has provided written approval of the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment and mitigation measures (letter dated 5 December 2005). In addition, the Ministry of Oil and Minerals has endorsed the EPA and Ministry of Water and Environment approval.
