Have networking sites (linkedin, zoominfo, jigsaw, etc.) changed your career ambitions?
Look, I think you should write to tech support to sort this out. Although as far as I remember I had the same problem once and just googled how do i cancel linkedin premium. So maybe you should do the same. I don’t think it’s hard to unsubscribe, especially now that all the information is in the public domain.
Given the enormous power of networking sites such as Linkedin and Zoominfo (and others), I am wondering if these sites are actually sparking new career ambitions for employees who use these tools. Of course, in these times these tools can be thought of as a great job resource for those seeking a position. However, the access to new contacts across a diverse set of industries seems that is would open doors to new positions to many people who would not have thought of pursuing a new opportunity if they did not have these online tools/networks. The end result would create a much more diverse and versatile worker who has overlapping skills, and is thus more marketable in the global economy. Thanks for your feedback.
