The PRIDE: Shockwave event held on August 28, 2002 pitted MMA fighters against K-1 fighters in a series of matches featuring rules from each organization in certain fights. Inoki Bom Ba Ye is another annual show held by Antonio Inoki on New Year’s Eve, in which K-1 fighters face off against MMA fighters. Usually these events result mainly in mismatches.
