Hello, Hi, I do not know if the reason you are asking for help is because you do not know what words to use in order to decline, , or whether you do not know if it is appropriate to decline the invitation via email. Since I am guessing at the reason you are asking here is my reply. First of all since the couple is requesting for RSVP via email, then it is perfectly appropriate to decline via email. Simply write them a brief thank you for the invite, and say that you are sorry that you will not be able to attend due to (whatever your reason is). That should suffice and serve the purpose. I hope this helps you. Best regards and wishes. Charish A.
