ChatZilla calls this feature Conference Mode and it will hide all join, part, quit and nickname change messages when it is enabled. By default, this occurs only in channels with more than 150 users. The Conference Mode limit can be set on the Appearance tab in preferences for Global Settings, an entire network, or for a single channel.
