This is, of course a matter that very much depends on the individual. In general, however, most professors are very understanding of the need to provide guidance outside of regular class hours. Moreover, all professors are required to post their weekly office hours in their departments.

Since all professors in the business school have offices in Simon Hall as well, they are extremely accessible. Each week, professors hold office hours during which they are in their office and ready to answer students’ questions. If those hours do not work for the student, then professors encourage students to schedule an office appointments with them. Many professors also maintain an open door policy, which allows students to drop by and ask questions whenever they are in their office.
