Since the TideMeter uses ACTUAL measurements at the Outermost Harbor, it does the best job yet available in delivering tide levels and times. During the of trials the tide meter has consistently shown that the actual high and low tide levels at the Outermost Harbor are somewhat greater than indicated in the tables. Also, noted were variations between actual measured low and high tide times when compared to the tide tables.
