How are applications to the MBA Program evaluated?

0

Applications to the MBA Program are evaluated on a rolling basis. Considered in the admission decision are undergraduate (and graduate, if applicable) academic performance, GMAT scores, TOEFL scores for international applicants, work experience, essays, interviews, letters of recommendation, and other documentation supporting the application. Applications are reviewed individually and are also compared to the students currently enrolled in the program and to the current group of applicants. The admissions committee is really making two decisions. The first concerns potential for academic success in the MBA program. In this phase of the process past academic work, GMAT scores, and TOEFL scores (if applicable) are considered. In the second phase of the decision process the committee is looking for indicators for leadership potential, contributions to the MBA program, both inside and outside the classroom, and career fit.
