The nexus generation is coming into the workforce with very clear expectations of what they want from employers and clear expectations that they will be able to have meaningful work for meaningful wage without sacrificing work-life balance. Third, there is a serious labour shortage in this country which is going to affect a large number of employers, and already is in some industries. As a result, employers are going to have to accommodate employees’ demands in order to attract and retain valuable employees.
