How are falls related to Parkinsons?
About two thirds of people with Parkinsons may encounter falls. The symptoms such as poor vision, muscle weakness, stooped posture, and impaired balance may make one vulnerable to falls. Another reason of falls may be the medications used for various medical conditions such antidepressants, sleeping medication and drugs prescribed for managing blood pressure.
