A20: SPID’s should be provided by the ISDN service provider. Enter them without dashes or spaces. SPID’s should follow one of the following formats: For AT&T 5ESS, the format will be 01NNNNNNN 0 TT, where NNNNNNN is the 7-digit Directory Number and TT is the 2-digit TID which can be a value from 00 to 62 and should be supplied by your ISDN service provider. For Nortel DMS100 the format is usually AAANNNNNNNSSTT, where AAA is the area code, NNNNNNN is the 7-digit Directory Number, SS is the SPID suffix (a zero, one or two digit number) and TT is the 2-digit TID which can be a value from 00 to 62 and should be supplied by your ISDN service provider. The Directory Number should be entered as the 7-digit number only (i.e. without area code). If the ISDN switch type is AT&T Custom, leave the SPID and Directory Number fields blank.
