How are passports returned once an application has been processed?

0

Mailing passports is illegal in Malaysia. You will need to come to the office to pick up your own passport, or you can authorize another person to do so in your behalf – That person must have an original, signed authorization from you allowing him/her to pick up your passport.

Passports are returned by registered mail to the mailing address indicated on the application form. If you wish to use the services of a private courrier company, you must make the arrangements yourself and include a return enveloppe with the waybill mentioning “prepaid” or “bill recipient” in your application package. Your account number must appear on the waybill if you are to be billed for the delivery.
