Your leagues playoff seedings are based on you league’s settings. Many times they are a result of a tiebreaker setting being invoked. Please see our tiebreaker settings for more info.

Whether your league’s playoffs are set to include two, four, six, or eight teams, the top seeds from each division automatically make the playoffs. The remaining teams that make the playoffs are chosen by best record, regardless of division standings. If your league has only one division, then the teams with the best records make the playoffs.
