How are the foam pieces glued together?

We use a one-part urethane foam like “Great Stuff” which is available from most home supply stores. The actual product we use is the professional version that uses a separate gun which attaches to replaceable containers. For large projects you might consider using the professional version. We can provide the foam gun and containers for you if you want. There is a special procedure that must be used with these products when they are used to glue the foam pieces together since they normally expand during curing. The urethane foams normally use the humidity (water) in the air to cure, but if you add water to the process, two things happen: (1) The urethane cures more rapidly and (2) The expansion is reduced. This process can be used to glue almost anything together!
