How are the Ideals of The Gettysburg address still relevant to our country today?
Lincoln talks about bringing the country together again after a terrible battle in a terrible war. Americans were divided against one another. Today we are divided again by ugly politics. We need to be united to solve all of the problems we face. We are not red states and blue states; we are not black and white Americans; we are not divided into ethnic or religious groups, we are the United States.
