How are the recitation, lab, and lecture courses graded?

The recitation scores are incorporated into the lecture grade. Meaning your lecture grade will be based on the midterm, final exam, and “scaled” recitation quizzes (the lowest recitation quiz is dropped). At this point the lecturer ranks the scores determines were to make the letter grade cuts. (an A is not necessarily 90% of the total possible points). The lab grade is determined by adding all of the students earned points (which are “scaled” by instructor) and ranked. After being ranked the letter grade cuts are make. Note an A is not necessarily 90% of the total possible points.
