The seed bead size indicates how many beads will fit on a 2 cm. strand. That is, that the higher the number is, the smaller the bead. A size 11/0 means that 11 beads equals a 2 cm. strand, whereas a size 6/0 means that 6 beads will fit on a 2 cm. strand.
