How are the teams formed?
A new team starts with a maximum of four players; daughters of the head coach, two assistants and a team sponsor; the rest are drawn in a “blind” draft, sorted by school or subdivision to try to ensure each player is on a team with other players that she would know. Teams from a previous year can stay together and can move up to the next bracket together. Requests for certain teams can be placed but not guaranteed.
