How are the YMCA and Davenport Community School District collaborating on the new facility at West?

0

The West Family YMCA facility is being developed for West High students to use for athletics and physical education programs as well as YMCA members and the entire community. The School District is providing $5.5 million through local option sales tax funds and the YMCA will provide the $250,000 through community fundraising. Operating costs are the responsibility of the YMCA over a 25- year shared use agreement and will be derived from membership and community use fees, program revenue and contributions.
