How are you working with local communties and organisations?
The RSPB brings more than 20 years of experience of supporting BirdLife partners in developing countries. We will help our sister organisation, Burung Indonesia, with planning the forest’s management, surveying for birds and wildlife, and raising international awareness. We are working in partnership with the families who live in and around the forest to build mutual trust and respect, and develop sustainable enterprise projects that can meet their livelihood needs, whilst at the same time protecting the forest – giving both them, and wildlife, a promising future.
