HOW CAN a person grow OLD gracefully without drugs?
As others have said: balanced diet with plenty of water-based fruit and vegetables. ‘Take 5’ (portions of fruit and veg) a day is not a fad thing invented by Sainsburys, it really does work. I find that if I don’t eat about 5 portions a day, my digestion gets all sluggish, but when I do it is much better and I have more energy. Lots of balanced and nutritious food helps to keep the skin supple and healthy, and also helps the body in a lot of other ways. Cod liver oil tablets will also help your skin, teeth, bones and joints…but you have to take them regularly (one a day) for the benefits to be felt. Exercise is important. It helps blood flow to all parts of the body including the muscles and the joints. It also increases the production of endorphins which are ‘feel-good’ factor hormones in the blood stream and help keep you feeling contented.
