How can an institution become a PPD provider?
Previously, the TDA invited existing and potential new PPD providers to bid for places to provide accredited PPD courses. These courses were assessed and subsequently accredited in line with national and local priorities, and places were allocated for the 2008/09 annual year through to 2010/11. There are no planned new arrangements beyond 2010/11 for the TDA to recruit any new PPD providers, or to approve new courses within existing providers.
