How can I become a professional songwriter?
Professional songwriters are usually people who have worked as musicians for bands for a long time before entering into contracts with companies or specific artists (like a song-writing partnership). What you should do is get out and play shows with your songs and get better at what you do and hope you’re lucky and someone notices you. Work ridiculously hard, play lots of shows, build a reputation as a songwriter and try and build connections.
