i don’t know which system do you have but any how restart your pc , press “del” Or “F2” key to enter your setup , del is common key to enter setup , after you enter in your setup, check for an option “IDE devices connected to computer” if you get your hard drive in the list provided by IDE list, then your hard drive is safe , if there is no hard drive is not shown in the list then…… repair your hard drive or then go for some hardware services!
