The only way to know if a particular structure has elevated radon levels is to test it. Radon problems are found throughout Florida and no area is immune to it. The Department of Health does provide zip code based statistics of radon levels in buildings in Florida. You may visit our Radon Data by Zip Code page, to view information on radon testing results for other zip codes. This data is taken from reports submitted by state certified radon testing companies. As such, it is not based on any scientific sampling methodology but sampling driven solely by those willing to pay for professional radon testing. This data cannot be used to predict radon levels in untested properties.
