How can i find out if my computer has a virus?
I read the previous answers… There some good ideas there, but you might not have a virus. I also know that the computer used the hard drive to keep information that it needs. When the space on the hard drive becomes too small, the system must spend more time reading and writing to the disk. This is seen by you as a slowing computer. There are some things you can do that will improve the speed very much. 1. Give the computer more RAM memory, so it needs less hard drive memory. 2. Give the computer more hard drive space: —A. Move files to CD or DVD and erase them from the hard drive. —B. Get a new faster hard drive. And, if the hard drive has enough space, adjust the size of the swap file to take advantage of it. You will need to talk to a technical expert to learn how to do that. ;-D Of course you might have a virus as well. The other answers tell you how to check for that.
