How can I get the 6100 with Sonnet G-3 to work with the 64Mb SIMMs (Qty 2) I just purchased?
A user in Japan found that if you took off the Crescendo extension, installed the 64MB memory chips then install an older version such as 1.3.7 which you can get from the archives at Sonnet that it would work. So far I have restarted the computer a few times, cold boots, and the machine has been stable. I also put a space in front of the extension so it loads before the other extensions except for Conflict Catcher. You may also exchange them for 64M-EDO or 64M-4K, they have been shown to work correctly.
