How can I keep my 4 week old kitten alive that won nurse off his mother?
Kittens can some times tolerate cow’s milk but it does not contain all of the nutrients the kittens need. You need to feed a formula which addresses the needs of young kittens. Pet stores will carry a replacement formula for kittens – KMR is a brand I often see – as well as the bottles need to feed them. I think Walmart might also carry these items in their pet section. These special formulas are the best thing to use but there are some recipes on the internet you can use to make a temporary formula for kittens.
