How can I recognise and deal with invasive plants?

0

There are lots of invasive plants. The Trust is especially interested in invasive pond species and has produced a leaflet about these. Any records are useful. The Environment Agency is also undertaking work on Japanese knotweed, giant hogweed, Himalayan balsam and other invasive species and has published factsheets and advice on their control. They can be found here: http://www.environment-agency.gov.uk/subjects/conservation/?
