0

The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) will send you a renewal application pack two months before your photo is due to expire. You will need to: • complete the renewal form • include a new passport-type photograph of yourself that has been taken within the past month – you do not need to have the back of the photo signed • return both parts of your driving licence – photocard and counterpart document • enclose a cheque or postal order for £20.00 made payable to the DVLA – no fee is needed if you have a medical short period licence or you are aged 70 or more The documents and the fee should be sent to: DVLA Swansea SA99 1DH If you have changed your name, you will also need to provide identity documents as proof. For more information see our guide: proof of identity and photographs you need when you apply for a driving licence.
