How can I reserve a park pavillion (shelter) or the amphitheatre?
City of Waynesboro, Department of Parks and Recreation picnic shelters and/or amphitheatre are available on a first come, first served basis free of charge. Reservations for picnic shelters may be taken after January 1 of the year of requested use. Shelters can not be reserved for use prior to April 1st of any given year, as restrooms will not be opened prior to that time. The restrooms at Ridgeview Park adjacent to the pool’s filter building are open year round except in extreme cold weather conditions. Anyone wishing to use the picnic shelters after October 31 or before April 1 may do so free of charge. We do not reserve picinic shelters during that time. City of Waynesboro, Department of Parks and Recreation picnic shelters may be reserved for a day or any part of a day for $25.00. Permits will be issued to those groups or individuals that do reserve the shelters.
