How can i retrieve the vb forms and project files deleted using shift+delete button?
That’s pretty bad, if you had deleted without SHIFT they would have gone to the recycle bin, but SHIFT-DELETE performs a hard delete. There is, oddly, no longer an undelete function in Windows (for files deleted this way). If you’re really desperate to retrieve these, the first thing to know is DO NOT save any new files on this PC, or they may overwrite the existing (deleted) files, which are still on disk. Only the directory lookup information to find these files has been lost. The next thing to do is go to a reliable sofware source (such as download.com) and download some UNDELETE software. Most of this software is going to cost you if you end up deciding to use it. (You may be able to find something less expensive through bittorrent.) In any event, do not try to download this software on the PC with the deleted software, in fact, ideally, you should remove the drive in question and use it in another PC with the undelete software installed.
