How can i send an instant message via persons profile I.D.?
Hi there You go to messenger and under actions click on : Send and instant message, a window Willl open where you will see all of your contacts, but in the very top you have two tabs. Click on the tab where it says: other contact In the window that now opens you wil see a long rectangle in blank. enter there the Yahoo ID and click OK. An IM window will open. type your message and send. If your trying to send a message through a 360 page , you can only do that if the person who owns the page has allowed to have Offline IM messages public, and same goes with a regular yahoo profile. If the person has the IM open to the public just click where you see the little yahoo face, Offline message for 360 pages, and send me a message on regular yahoo profiles. I hope this helps.
